In 2005 Owen began working for Established & Sons, assisting them with putting cutting edge furniture designs into production. The first project he worked on was the technically demanding, die cast aluminium De La Warr Pavilion Chair designed by BarberOsgerby. Success with this project lead on to more work alongside other well known British furniture designers, including Alexander Taylor, Michael Marriott and frank.
This work has used a range of production process and materials, die & sand castings, machining, woodwork, metal fabrications and extensive laser cutting and forming of sheet materials.
