Optare Alero CSV (Community Service Vehicle)

A year long research project as part of the Helen Hamlyn Research Centre's Research Associate program.  Owen worked within the Vehicle Design Department of the RCA to look into alternative applications and markets for the newly launched Optare Alero.

After extensive research into past, present and future mobile services, particularly in rural areas, Owen designed a fully modular interior for the vehicle which would allow it to be used in a variety of roles including:

• mobile library

• IT training centre

• youth centre

• office
